Nordstrom Rack invited us to stop in and check out their “Clear The Racks aka Clearance” sale that’s going now on through Labor Day, and truth be told…this is a sale not to be missed. We headed out this morning &  traveled about 40 minutes to our closest Nordstrom Rack in Troy, MI and found it already buzzing with bargain hunters at 10:30am. Knocking back our grande’s we planned our attack and headed in to see what deals we could find.

The women’s clearance had its own area with about 20 rounders spilling over with spring & summer tops, pants, tons of denim, and even a fair supply of fall outwear.  We found the best deals (on brands we love) in the women’s tops section – tank tops in every color from Tart, Splendid, and Alternative Apparal – most for $7.90! We spied this Tory Burch Alton sequin top for $123 (75% off of $495!) as well as this TB chocolate tunic for only $73.75 (reg. $296)!  Many other sweet deals on tops from Patterson J. Kincaid, Haute Hippie, Young, Fabulous & Broke, and Leifdottir (see what Nicole scored at end of this post!).

The deals on denim were also really decent – Paige Premium Denim cut-off shorts only $9.90, Earnest Sewn Skinny jeans – $46.50, and plenty of washes and cuts from J. Brand, Joe’s, Mother, Citizens of Humanity, Rich & Skinny and even some Not Your Daughter’s Jeans for your mom.

The shoe department also had a nice selection of clearance items: Kate Spade black suede peep-toe pumps – $112 (70% off the msrp $395). Nicole is still pining away for these! These Elizabeth and James snakeskin kitten heels were also hard to leave on the rack at $109.90 (orig. $295). Not on clearance, but nicely discounted were suede clogs from Coach, sophisticated heels from Cole Haan and Vera Wang Lavender.
