Disclosure: We received a JORD Fieldcrest Black watch in exchange for writing a review on the blog. All opinions are our own.
It seems appropriate to talk about timepieces on a weekend when we’ve just turned the clocks forward for Day Light Saving Time. Does anybody really know what time it is? Well here at The Sale Rack it’s time to tell you about JORD wood watches, a very stylish line of hand-crafted, all natural wooden watches born in the American heartland of St. Louis, MO. Launched in the Fall of 2013 amidst a growing trend of utilizing natural, raw, and sustainable materials in products, JORD quickly carved out a name for themselves with their innovative & design-centric statement watches. In a world where we can check the time by glancing at the ever-present cell phone in our hand, there’s a movement happening where analog watches are making a very fashionable come-back. A welcome addition to the arm party, we think!
The fine folks at JORD sent us this beauty from the Fieldcrest Series to review. It feels like the perfect watch to wear as we move from Winter into Spring, with its sharp black metal bezel and rich monochromatic wood face, a nice contrast to the white palate of winter. And we like the idea of wearing a wood watch as a reminder of the renewal of Spring and that indeed, it is on the way. “The Fieldcrest Series is produced in a classic midsize. Designed to be androgynous, the attitude of the wearer is the final elemental design to this timepiece.”
